The vision of the STEPS4GROWTH project is to develop a national model for local workforce development that creates an inclusive pipeline of professionals in clean energy through innovative partnerships and competency-based training, empowering individuals to attain Good Jobs and support sustainable career pathways with family-sustaining wages.
Per the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality “To successfully transition to a clean energy future, North Carolina must establish a 21st-century regulatory model that incentivizes business decisions that benefit both the utilities and the public in creating an energy system that is clean, affordable, reliable, and equitable.”
