STEPS4GROWTH works closely with businesses and industry partners to ensure that training and development programs are aligned with the latest industry trends and technologies.

This collaborative approach ensures that businesses are not just passively receiving trained workers but actively participating in the development of the workforce that will drive the industry forward. By engaging with STEPS4GROWTH, companies become part of a larger network of businesses, educators, and policymakers who are all working together to shape the future of the clean energy workforce.

Businesses/companies can engage with STEPS4GROWTH in several ways:

  • Collaborating on Curriculum Development: Companies can work with STEPS4GROWTH to help shape the training programs, ensuring that the curriculum is directly relevant to their needs. This involvement ensures that the workforce is trained in the specific skills required by the business.
  • Providing Internship and Apprenticeship Opportunities: Businesses can offer internships, apprenticeships, and other hands-on learning opportunities to students and workers in the STEPS4GROWTH programs. This provides companies with early access to talent while giving trainees real-world experience.
  • Hiring Graduates: By partnering with STEPS4GROWTH, businesses can tap into a pipeline of qualified workers who have been trained specifically for roles in clean energy. This makes the hiring process more efficient and ensures that businesses are bringing in employees who are ready to contribute from day one.
